It’s a good time for developers!
Hackdays, dev contests, API platforms opening everywhere… The San Francisco dev community has a lot of opportunities to shine! First the TechCrunch Disrupt Hackathon, very soon the Twilio Hack Night, next weekend the HTML5 Hackathon at Eventbrite, which Viadeo is sponsoring, and of course the Viadeo Dev Challenge, still ongoing since its launch at SF New Tech!
Indeed, at the Bring on the APIs event, Viadeo launched a Developer Challenge online, running until the 14th of October. The goal is to hack with Viadeo’s API – but feel free to use others too, all mashups are welcome!
Why should you participate? To Connect with 35 million professionals worldwide, especially in China and India, and of course the possibility to win 15K worth of prizes!
Check out The Next Web’s video at SF New Tech with all the judges, who tell you what kind of applications they wish to see! Listen to Robert Scoble, Hermione Way, Kin Lane, Myles Weissleder and many more.
