We’ve experienced rapid growth over the past year with a particular focus on the emerging markets. Tianji, Viadeo’s Chinese network, has just reached over 8 million members in a market which has massive growth potential (for an interesting viewpoint on Viadeo’s strategy in China take a look at this article posted yesterday on The Next Web).
Internally we’re growing as well. We’ve reached over 310 staff this year with big plans for next year. One of our recent hires is Gilles Nembe who will lead Viadeo’s Emerging Markets and Partnerships team. Gilles joined us in October from Cisco and is responsible for leading and further developing our strategy in emerging markets.
